CHILD SAFE STANDARDS

From 1 January, 2017, Child Safe Standards were to apply to all sporting organisations that operate and provide sporting services to children within Victoria. They are a legal requirement that we will need to be compliant with. It’s about creating a culture and environment within sport that is supportive and protective of children. We now have a Child Safe Policy, Child Safe Code of Conduct, and a Child Safe Incident Report Form endorsed by the Committee. These will be placed on the club website. It is recommended that all members become familiar with these documents
