Australia Day Cruise

It’s 2017 already and time to think about another fun, relaxing cruise around Western Port Bay over the Australia Day weekend.

All motor boats and sail boats are welcome. It’s a great chance to explore our bay and get out in your boat in excellent company. You can decide whether you would like to do a single day, an overnight stopover or the full four day adventure. Our cruise this year will start with a 1000 hours briefing on Thursday, January 26 (high tide 1115 hours); but boats are very welcome to join us on Friday or Saturday.

Our itinerary will depend on prevailing weather and winds. If it includes a night in Western Port Marina at Hastings we will need to book this ahead of time so please indicate your interest in this. Again, it will depend on the weather forecast closer to the date.

This weekend is all about having fun and making the most of our bay. It also provides an opportunity for less experienced sailors to gain some cruising experience whilst in the company of other vessels.
