Dear Members,
I hope that you and your families are keeping safe and well. Your club is going very well with lots of activity and plans afoot to create events for your enjoyment.
Saturday Night Happy Hour (which lasts much longer than an hour) is building momentum and we are seeing good numbers attending each Saturday night. We are continuing with our Members’ Draw which as I write this newsletter the jackpot is now $675.00. Remember you must be present to win. If you have not joined in our Saturday Happy Hour it starts at 5.30pm, the bar is open, well stocked and offers great value, and you are welcome to bring along friends and family. We also presently have a couple of sponsors and give out a door prize each Saturday night. One week we have a meat tray supplied by San Remo Butchers and the alternate week we have a meal voucher supplied by San Remo Hotel. Please support these businesses as they support us. Of course, I remind members that the club rooms are there for your enjoyment, we have coffee and tea available, we have a pool table and table tennis table downstairs and showers and toilets for members to use. You can bring friends just to have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine looking out on our million-dollar view. I do remind members and guests that we run the club with volunteers and we ask that you clean up after yourselves if you use any of our facilities. Dishes should be washed and put away, rubbish put in the rubbish bins supplied and that the club rooms are left as you find them, neat and tidy. We have also purchased and installed a new 86” TV for your enjoyment, we have Wi-Fi so you can enjoy YouTube etc. when visiting the club.
