Dinghy Sailing 2 – Introduction for kids and novices
After the great success of Dinghy sailing 1 on Dec 29 and 30, Dinghy Sailing 2 will be on January 12 and 13, 2021.
The times for each day are as below
-
- Tuesday 12th January; 9 to 1.30
- Wednesday 13th January; 10.30 to 2.30
The club will use our special Sailability Dinghies having found they are an excellent introduction and most suitable for novice sailors. These small, stable boats are a great way to learn sailing.
Whilst a good age to commence sailing is around 10, many younger children give it a go. If you are unsure if your child is ready, and or you want to register children or novices for the event please contact Alen Garrett (Mob: 0429 417 552 Email sailability@nys.org.au) at least 48 hours prior to the event to enable adequate staffing and boats for the days
On the day, children will need to be accompanied by an adult and please bring lunch and drinks for the participants, along with hats, sunscreen and protective clothing. Life jackets will be provided
